Some Sister Time

My sister and I spent the afternoon together making homemade pasta sauce, painting for 2 hours, and driving to the end of Drum Point Road in Brick to watch the devistating fire that has engulfed Seaside Boardwalk.  It was truly a shocking experience to see such an event with other spectators and my sister. She was innocently admiring the choppy Barnegat Bay and paid no mind to the black trail of smoke in the distance.

We watched the fire from a far distance.. a truly sad and shocking event after such a hard hit from Sandy. I can only imagine if I were the construction worker who hammered those new boardwalk planks in with pride for future generations to enjoy.
