Summer at a Glance, on Film

It was on my summer bucket-list to try out this new polaroid film, PX Color Film, and I have yet to figure it out. The polaroid has to be in a dark room for nearly an hour as soon as you take it, otherwise the picture gets yellow and won't develop.  I tried to get a shot of my roommate holding a wine glass and cow skull but the bottom half didn't develop. It's very frustrating, but I like using the Miranda with black and white film.  The pictures have a dreamy and dramatic look.

Both subjects in this picture are so innocent and sweet.

Yum! There's nothing like eating these pretty flowers with ricotta and finishing salt!

A turtle sun bathing at Colliers Mills in Jackson. We tried to get as close as possible with the kayak.

Our friend made a very spicy homemade concoction.

I'm so sad it's already September 1st and the summer is officially over. On the bright side, the best photos to take with color film are fall pictures!
