Film from the Fall

Happy December 1st! I picked up some photos from PhotoCenter in Brick NJ and wanted to post a few.   I didn't take too many with the fisheye lens, but it truly is one of my favorite lenses. It doesn't work for every moment but when it does it's impressive.

Daimon's nephew has had an interest in taking photos with a film camera. I'm always so honored to teach him something new on my camera since I imagine most kids these days don't see the potential in shooting with film. This Christmas I have a pretty good idea what I should give him. He took this picture:

Daimon and I took a walk down a strange trail by our apartment.  I wish there was just a little more contrast in this picture so you could see the real definition of this leaf.

It looked liked a group of people rearranged the walkway with broken planks from the boardwalk that had once been there.  There were reeds, straw, and other evidence all over the trees and branches that Superstorm Sandy might have been the culprit.  I didn't take a picture of it (...now I wish I did) but there were some strange things on this trail, like a seashell wreath, hanging on a tree.
