Loving the day devoted to Love!

Valentines Day is one of my favorite days of the year. Who doesn't like pink treats? Next to Christmas, it's my biggest baking event of the year!  Besides all the sweet stuff, it's also a time to show people you care. It's so traditional to give something to your significant other, but it's the little things that you can do that count for anyone, co workers, distant family members, siblings, and strangers.

Here's some random thoughtful things you can do on the day dedicated to L O V E:

- Slip an affirming note into a library book for a stranger to find.
- Leave dollar tips- to whoever pumps your gas (if you're in New Jersey!) or the person who bags your groceries. Ask for $19 cash and leave him or her the dollar.
- Make a handmade card. So much more special than email.
-Charge your hunny's or roommates' phones. Just a little something to say you care.
- Make an extra sandwich. Give it away.
- Write a song for someone. It can be a cheesy, poorly written song, because your listener won't care. It's the thought that counts and it's cute.
