Prom and Peeps

I had the pleasure of escorting my sister to Prom yesterday.  She looked so elegant in her baby pink dress and loose curls.  She was as pink as the cherry blossoms that are nearly fully bloomed by now. Her date had a pink tie to match.

She didn't expect to be surprised when she got home, and I was right there to get her reaction.  

We have 6 new chicks, only a few days old, and they are super cute with all their little peeps. We have 3 Rhode Island Reds and 3 Barred Rock birds. We never had copper colored chicks, or had birds that laid brown eggs. They'll grow in just 2 weeks to look like teenagers, so I'll keep you posted.
