Estate Sale Shopping and Flea Market Finds

I'll be the first to tell you that I've never seen an estate sale like the one I was at last Saturday. The lady that passed away in her home had not one, not two, not even three, but 10 of everything she owned. And being that she was a seamstress, you can imagine how I must've been like a kid in a candy shop. She had everything from multiple drawers of varying kinds of scissors to hundreds of patterns. I bought some silks, patterns, and other little things from her. Some thrifty friends and I went from sale to sale, admiring the old homes and the treasures found in them. Here's some of my recent finds. It was a gorgeous day, so I took this pic as I was escorted around.

an embroidery pattern, over 100 years olds

An old house with no AC

Little salt and pepper shakers
 A dainty handmade display plate.

And a few other pieces that were left in the backseat were:  a glass fish bottle that says "millville NJ", a giant oval embroidery hoop, and lots of candles for Pysanky next year :)
