Sleepy Hollow Weekend

The timing all last weekend was perfect, and we just went with the flow. We just so happened to be in Sleepy Hollow during their annual parade.

This is the only picture I took at Headless Horseman in NY, and it was by far the best haunted attraction I've every been to.  It was worth every penny to go through all 10 attractions. I was screaming the entire time.

Sleepy Hollow Cemetery was the most beautiful and peaceful cemetery I've ever experienced. We spent hours walking around, carefully inspecting the epitaphs and tombstone details.  Some tombstones even had descriptions of how the person died.  American author, Washington Irving and the woman who inspired Katrina are buried here alongside hundreds of civil and revolutionary war veterans and some spectacular family plots.  The monuments are amazing! We showed up right in time for a festival, and they were selling liquor and had a headless horseman on horseback, right in the cemetery! You'd (more than likely) never experience anything like that in NJ.  I took some great shots with my film camera (pics coming soon!)
