A Christmas unlike any other

Daimon and I spent most of our Christmas home this year;  he got the flu and was in no shape to leave. So instead, we ate leftover Barley for dinner and watched Twilight Zone episodes. I didn't think it'd be the interesting day that it was, but it turned out to be a very memorable and fun holiday.  I made a "friends" guess who with the board game we never play. It was worth the hour of life to make this game.   It's amazing when you discover the commonalities and similarities there are between our friends who may not really know each other. Daimon and I laughed so hard, I think it helped cheer him up.  "Is your person a heavy smoker? Does your person have a very distinct hairstyle or color? Does he or she drive a beat up car?  Do we like their parents just as much as them?"  It was enlightening just as much as it was entertaining.

I received a text yesterday from the farmer, Rob Schuster, who I volunteer for occasionally.  I'm scheduled to help with the baby lambs in April when they arrive, which is when sheep typically give birth.  His text was of a sheep that had given birth ON CHRISTMAS DAY; a very rare happening.  It might even be... dare I say it... a Christmas miracle?

I can't wait to take their pictures because my film camera is back from the shop and needs to see some action ;)
