We made it!

15 1/2 hours of driving through 4 states, and 5 rolls of film later, we are finally back home in this miserably cold state of New Jersey! Although we had such an incredible and memorable time, we did miss this cold state with all our friends, family and our cat. He really missed us! I have sunburned cheeks just like him now!

We brought the south home with us! We got honey from Mississippi, spices, and obviously 40 pounds of mardi gras beads. The ladies loved Daimon; he was catching all the beads for me!

I bought a goofy magnet to support this little local business.  We went on an airboat ride in the swamp.

We spent a day in Epcot, and Daimon got this cool button!

Those bay leaves were given to me from a french chef who said that I need Mississippi bay leaves to make the best gumbo.

Those seeds are from a tree that was over 2000 years old!

Here's what our route looked like. Every day was an adventure. We never stayed in the same place for too long.

Glad I have this little bugger to keep me warm. Can't wait for spring!
