Another thing I love about this season are the eggs (after all, that is my art form!) and today I'll be picking up duck eggs to experiment with at the Schuster Farm. The shape and size of duck eggs interest me to see how my patterns are affected when I make some more pysanky. Check out these fun turquoise eggs that my parents' "Easter chicken" started laying. Never heard of an Easter Egg layer? They're a little weird, check it out here.
Little Richard received a gift! He turned 6 recently and our friend, Liz, designed some wall art for him. We're currently looking for a frame.
Liz received something back since it was her birthday too!
And we've been in the studio! It's been amazing working with Anthony of AntFarm studio. Today is the day I look forward to but I also put a lot of pressure on myself- adding vocal tracks. Let's hope it goes well; I'll keep you posted.
And lastly, for your viewing pleasure, I wanted to posted an old picture from circa 2006 or 2007. I found it recently going through some old pictures and printing them off the computer. I LOVED working at Jenkinson's Aquarium, especially when I got to bring the snakes on the boardwalk for sunning or feeding the seals. I have warm memories from this time in my life, when I just started college and started figuring out who I was and what I wanted to do in my life.
