New Pysanky and merch

It is no exaggeration when I tell you that my life revolves around doing and teaching Pysanky this time of year. I love to do it and it's just as gratifying to teach it.  It is so important to my emotional, intellectual, and psychological needs to sit and create this kind of work.  It really requires you to get into a certain state of mind.  You'd be surprised how much time can go by when working on a single egg.

I was invited to a pysanky party yesterday and it was a great, diverse group of people eager to learn. I made a few eggs to give away and a few to keep.

It is a rarity that I can work on an egg during one of my own classes, but my students picked up on it so fast, that I decided to make one with them.  Sometimes it's just as helpful to watch someone do it and check their technique as it is having them explain it. 

We're making merch! Bone and Marrow buttons, stickers, and tshirts are going to be available for our release show coming up in May. More details about that coming soon!
