In the palm of my hand is a beautiful jasmine flower; which doesn't fully bloom often enough to have tea in the refrigerator all the time. It's a rare treat to enjoy the flavorful water in the summer. You simply pluck the white flower and place it in a container with water. It just floats and flavors the water, no boiling required. Our 3 foot tall jasmine plant gave us 3 flowers this year; just enough to make a few liters of precious tea.
We purchase a Jasmine plant for around $10 in May at
Well Sweep Herb Farm in New Jersey. We might get one more flower before October.
