It wasn't easy planning how we could cover Tonic's "If you could only see" in our own style. The lyrics and song itself was something both Daimon and I had to work out, but I think its debut at The Stand Theater was a success. Other bands and musicians from New Jersey participated in an event in which we covered the entire Now 1 album, from beginning to end. From Spice Girls to Backstreet Boys, these songs were adapted for a 20-piece orchestra with some singers, featuring a few contestants from American Idol season 11. As you can imagine, Daimon and I were really excited to have the opportunity to play one of the songs. I never expected I'd have goosebumps the whole time from how powerful these songs had transformed into for the event. The acoustics in the theater would captivate even the most critical of listeners.
Our performance starts at 3 minutes. The drummer for Remember Jones, Kevin Grossman, lent me his sunglasses for the performance. I was too cool for school.
