Some interesting sightings during our trip

As promised, I wanted to post at least a few pictures of some interesting things we saw on the trip.  Most of the unusual aspects of the trip were captured on my film camera, which is currently being processed and printed.

There was a very eccentric museum called the Overland Trail Museum, in Sterling Colorado, and it is obvious that the museum has been there for some time.  The descriptions of each object are type written, displays were hand painted, and it was clearly a mishmash of items from a time long ago.  Behind the museum, you can tour an 1800s post office, school house for 10 children, barber shop, house, printshop, and ranch filled with branding irons.  Any and all of these buildings were perfect sets for a horror movie.

Inside, I snapped a few photos while Daimon took video for a music video we'll be putting together by this summer.

At the Stanley, they have Shining themed breakfast options. I did not indulge since we had an over-the-top dinner the night before.

After this snow storm passes in NJ, I'll be rushing over to the Photocenter to retrieve my film. I'm a little tempted to take photos in the snow so I have another roll ready.
