We're back!

It felt like weeks ago we embarked on this trip through unknown swamp land, unfamiliar cities and conquering New Orleans on bike. Daimon and I saw so much in just 8 days. It was difficult to get picked up at the airport when it was nearly 70 degrees colder, but it does feel nice to be home, to sleep with clean blankets and see our cat-boy who we missed so much.

I have lots of pictures to sift through, and two rolls of film to drop off. Until then, here's some souvenirs and treats we picked up along the way.  I missed sleeping with our siamese, Little Richard, so Daimon bought me something to cuddle with.

A new addition to the salt and pepper shaker collection.

The scream book journal was another gift I picked up along the way. Thanks hunny!

I needed a gator oven mitt!

This is my first real perfume, outside of the commercial body sprays I get from time to time.  Tea Olive is a scent that you might smell around Lousiana, because the sweet olive trees are so aromatic. What better way to spark a memory of a sweet vacation than to spark it with a familiar smell.  I have a feeling I might need to buy more!
