Fall 2016 on Film

I picked up 3 envelopes, and only a few shots could be lightened a little after scanning. It was immensely disappointing, not to sound over dramatic, to have brought my new film camera around, carrying it in my bag or in the bike basket, and the results were not what I expected. Most of the shots were underexposed, which I later learned was due to the lens I was using on my Nikon FM.

While it was very frustrating to pick up photos that were not true to my mind's eye, they are very mysterious and strange. Check out this one of Daimon standing in front of one of the oldest buildings at Allaire State Park.

It's almost impossible to see the skeleton suit.

This is a private little beach that you can access from behind our apartment. After the first frost there's not a single fly.

The only two clear and blue shots were taken with my Miranda which I will use from time to time. It is not a very obedient camera, but the shots are so perfectly dreamy.

These clear blue waters are actually cranberry bogs at Whitesbog. The blue was really this intense. This shot was from last week, but we went out again today, and I brought a different camera only to find out the shutter was stuck! I can't catch a break!

This beautiful landscape is in Ithaca New York.
