Something Blue

Do you see the common thread? This is my week with a few hints of blue.

This may not seem like something to blog about, but the cat scratched me pretty deep in my nose (the poor little guy fell off the bed in the middle of the night and the claws came out!) and it's been the topic of discussion for a few days with my students in particular. I've been making up stories all week, but at this point I just can't wait for it to heal. I hope my face won't be the topic of discussion at Thanksgiving this year.

This week we had a Skype meeting with a visiting artist. This goldsmith showed off some of her pieces to the classes.

A few days ago, Daimon and I visited Whitesbog for a second time to find the state's largest cranberry bog. We didn't expect a beach! We didn't see cranberries either. The water was so blue you'd think it was summer.

Every year I make mustache cookies to raise money for Movember.  I'd say it's been a success so far this November.
