The Season for Spending

Sure, we all want to spend time with our loved ones, but it sometimes also means spending money on gifts. Think of the thrift stores and small businesses first! A handmade gift is also another way to go.

I did a small business spotlight many posts back about Change Is here.

I live along the shore area in New Jersey, but two of my favorite local places to shop are Change Is in Belmar  and Black Sheep Thrift Shop in Brick.  You are bound to find something interesting and unique in both stores.

Also, The Cutting Crane (my small sewing business) is open for business! I make handmade sewn items like pillows, jewelry, embroidered portraits and more.
