A printmaking conference was held at CUNY in midtown on Friday and I sat with a familiar red headed professor I had during my undergrad years. It was an enjoyable experience, especially when we had lunch at Hale & Hearty's, which was my first experience at the popular soup & sandwich spot. Following the conference, I made my way over to the Chelsea galleries and enjoyed a popular exhibit of featuring Picasso's many paintings of his wife, Jacqueline. She was 25; he was 75.

I appreciated all the moments captured in his studio. I can see what they both admired in each other.

By Bryant Park, Holiday vendors are all set up and making sales, right next to an ice skating rink. People are skating already!
Thanks to one of my favorite new resources, Atlas Obscura, I was able to find an old pub called Keen's Steakhouse, that was covered in pipes that were once in the mouths of famous actors, Presidents and icons. It was a pretty interesting site, and I'm glad I stopped by, but I didn't stay because my bank account wouldn't allow me... I was pretty dressed down for the place...
