Last Night at the Art Tank

As a figure drawing instructor at the Collective Art Tank in Asbury Park,  I had the pleasure of working with a voluptuous model who could've been Lucian Freud's "Big Sue".   The students loved working with her.  We focused on artists Lucian Freud and Peter Paul Rubens.  There was a point in the class when I noticed that the students were not loosening up enough to get a more natural drawing.  A way to remedy this is to use pencil extenders.  It's usually very frustrating to use in the beginning but then you grow to enjoy it.  As you submit to the fact you have no control, you realize that you do...
