Day Dreaming over New Orleans

A fellow teacher and I read a new article that came out about day dreaming, that there's a correlation between texting every time you have a moment or break from work and limiting your abilities to think creatively.  Day dreaming gives us to a change to dig into our subconscious and to think outside our reality.  To stimulate your brains every single second means you're preventing yourself to develop ideas naturally and formulate new ones. You can check out that study here.

Only a few weeks are left before take our long roadtrip from Florida.  I was approved for a JetBlue credit card, and accumulated enough points during a promotional period to get free roundtrip tickets anywhere in the country. So for my next school break, we are flying south to eat some gumbo, check out the architecture, visit the cemeteries, and watch the incredibly designed and decorated floats, and look for manatees through a glassbottom boat.

These images are just too juicy not to share:

And, of course, I can't wait to hear all the music! I can't wait to experience all the sights, sounds, and all NOLA has to offer.
