Historic Cemetery Tour 2016

I've been the art teacher at the Oakwood School for 4 years, and I couldn't be any luckier to work with the best administration on the planet. They have been open to my ideas for trips, guest speakers and large projects since I started. Last Friday was the school's 4th annual cemetery tour. This year, we visited Old First Church (Middletown), Tennent Cemetery ( Manalapan) and Rosehill Cemetery (Matawan).  It was a big year for Rosehill because it marked 100 years since the historic shark attacks that inspired the movie Jaws.  The victims of that attack are buried there. Students did rubbings of these stones and many more. Here's a video of the footage I took during our trip.
