3 BIG Shows to Close Out the Year

Elevator Art hasn't been playing too many shows this past summer and fall, but we're ending our year with 3 big ones that took a long time to plan and prepare. The first of 3 is the one that means a lot on a personal level. One day I'll blog about my involvement with Ocean's Harbor House, but just for now, I'll tell you that I feel more invested with this non-profit than any other. This benefit show at the Asbury Lanes is going to be so amazing; it took nearly 6 months to prepare! With 5 local bands (Accidental Seabirds, Elevator Art, The Porchistas, No More Pain, and & Bog Iron Bloom), an intermission show by WendyBird Hoops, and 7 exhibiting artists (Daimon Santa Maria, Gregg Bautista, Becky Polenberg, Matt Tucker, Alexander Zuccaro, and Lindsey Bahr) this will be the show you won't forget. The flyer doesn't state The Porchistas, but they are on the bill. Just remember "7"-  December 7th, $7 to get in, music starts at 7pm. The youth at the shelter made the flyer and picked the colors.

Of course, the year wouldn't come to a close without the Asbury Music Awards.  I nearly died when I saw that I was nominated for "best bassist". You can check out the nominations here: http://www.asburymusicawards.com/AMA-Master-10.25.pdf

December 16th, starts at 6:30 at the Stone Pony.  I've been listening to Lightning Jar's EP a lot; I'll be singing along to their tunes during their set.

And last but not least, we're closing out the year with a big one.. Dec. 21st we are playing the "last day of existence" show at the Stone Pony.  There's going to be a large number of exhibiting artists and it's always fun to network.
