Bookends

My friend Jay, of Moon Motel, and I have started a project called "Bookends". Our collaboration began at one of Green Planet's open mic nights between sets. We were both interested in human relationships and the trends that can be seen in those relationships. We decided to start a website where the writers can therapeutically write  their words of wisdom with a sense of purpose and reason while it also can be enlightening and humbling for the readers. Our stories are all unique but our plot lines are strangely similar.

Our aim with Bookends is to provide an anonymous diary, like a Post-Secret, so people can post an entry about the relationship that changed their life but ended. Jay and I both felt that the wisdom of others should be shared so we can relate to one another and learn from one another. s
trangers will have the opportunity to relate and reflect upon your valuable experiences, and it could coach a person through a similar relationship.

We already have several interested writers who are anonymously writing their 4-5 paragraphs with their personal side to the story- their regrets, what they hold onto, etc. The entry should include at the end the (1) beginning- how you 2 met, (2) the ending- what ended the relationship, and (3) lessons learned. All information is completely confidential.

The website will not be released until January 1st, put we're collecting submissions now. If you're interested, comment below!
