Cattus Come Home was a huge Success!

Last Saturday was the Cattus Island benefit show at the Jackson Moose Lodge.  It took many kind people to put the show together and many more generous hearts to donate to the cause, beyond the $5 suggested donation.  All together, "Friends of Cattus" made over $1000 to go toward the environmental center, which was left abandoned in the wake of Superstorm Sandy in 2012. What was really amazing about the event is how many played, donated and showed up who were once Junior Naturalists years ago.  I too was one of the naturalists; catching frogs was my jam!

One of my favorite shots from the day- Chris the chief park naturalist in the kissing booth with that mustache of his!

Thanks to all the talents who played in the heat and came from all over NJ, including this Montclair-based band, The Porchistas.

This beautiful lady raised a ton for the benefit in the kissing booth!

Daimon and I sold a few of our calendars, which look so amazing! The Brick Vocational School print shop printed them and they look so professional and the colors are true to the original watercolors.

To name a few, some of the talents who came out and supported the cause include tattoo and watercolor artist Adrienne Habel, Mike Didia, Dogmatic Live Art, Thomas Wesley Stern, <3 Mad Feather Group, No More Pain (with a new album coming soon!), Moon Motel with Andy Demos and more.

Huge thanks to the Moose lodge, Jeff Crespi and Tara Howell, my partner in crime for making this all possible.

If you were unable to attend the festival and would like to donate to the cause, you can donate to "Friends of Cattus" at this link.http://www.friendsofcattusisland.com/
