Savoring the Last Bits of Summer

It's always at the top of my list; to make time to work on my art during the summer break. I did manage to make a few decorative eggs, but it was only on the very last day of August that I spent a few hours painting. The motivation was a little voice telling me to prepare for the art show I committed to in September. I'll be exhibiting with Bob Steeler, the drummer from Hot Tuna and Grateful Dead.  I'm looking forward to exhibiting with one of my previous students, the enormously talented illustrator, Zach Westfall, and fiber artist, Liz Hogan.
