Shells and Shows on a Sunday

Sunday should have been called "Shell Day". I never seen so many shells on the beach in a single afternoon. I picked up the largest clam shell I could find and it was nearly the size of my face. Daimon and I also found a few bones and interestingly shaped drift wood.

The sunset was so brightly colored as Victoria, my partner in the Venus Envy project, and I drove to Asbury for the highly anticipated show "Hear Me Roar". The all female showcase at the Asbury Hotel put me on a cloud and I still am on it, 24 hours later. The feedback from the event, from both audience members and musicians, were so positive that I'm convinced a showcase such as that one must happen again in Asbury. The mix of tourists, friends, family, and music appreciators all came together and stayed for the entire event. You couldn't find a mouth that wasn't gaping open in awe. Every girl had her own unique style and voice and we came together like puzzle pieces that were destined to be united.
