Small Business Spotlight of April

This April, I wanted to feature an inspiring couple who started a small business together:
It all started when John and his wife would look for interesting and unique pieces that could be conversation starters. While the couple enjoy hunting for traditional and trendy jewelry, they have an eye for possible heirlooms pieces. "Family Jewlz" started as a love story, and I am so humbled and inspired by this couple. Today, they are both art teachers, big collectors, and share an aesthetic and passion for jewelry collecting.  John writes,"We've been together for 33 years and we are truly best friends. We love to look for items to add to our collections, like vintage eyeglasses, American art pottery, and of course, jewelry.  We're always on a quest together."

Family Jewelz has a space at many local street fairs and vendor events in New Jersey and New York.  Based in Hawthorne, New Jersey, the couple loves to travel down the parkway to do festivals and shows in Asbury Park, Allaire State Park, and many more. Family Jewelz is also a known name because they support Relay for Life and Walk for Autism with their sales.

You can book a home party, fundraiser event, or ask about a piece by emailing John at Familyjewlz@gmail.com  You can look forward to seeing their tent space at Allaire State Park this summer.
