Sun Lab Studio
Come on, what band wouldn't want the experience to record wherever they want; on the beach, in the woods, in your own back yard. Kevin Grossman, founder of Sun Lab Studio, drives an Outback with solar panels on the roof to provide this service. Already having recorded several bands, including his own, Karmic Juggernaut, Kevin has built a reputation for himself as an experienced sound engineer as well as a talented drummer. Thomas Wesley Stern, a well known local band in my area were recorded in in the woods. Check out the recording.

Here's some photos I took with my Minolta film camera.
It's equally as mesmerizing to watch a live band playing in these environments as it is to hear the recordings. They have a flavor and character that you wouldn't get from a controlled environment. I invite you to check it out.
